DJI Mavic 2 Zoom -- Hyperlapse from a safe distance

A neat feature of the Mavic 2 Zoom is the Hyperlapse from a distance.  It's possible to record a time-lapse clip of a scene and be far enough away from it to have safe (and legal) flight.

For example, it would be difficult to capture a clip like this without the zoom:

But with the zoom, the drone can be over a park or sports field, while capturing the footage.

Another neat feature of the Mavic 2 Zoom is that if you try and land with the camera aiming down, it automatically swings it out of the way.   The lens is longer than on the Mavic Pro, so it could be damaged if you landed with it facing straight down.

Of course, that doesn't really help much if you can't land properly :-)

Don't worry, the snow is very soft.  There was no damage, other than to the drone's pride :-)
