iphone 4 uses mini SIM, so as long as you get a speak out mini SIM this should work

This will now be much easier to accomplish as Apple Canada will begin selling unlocked iPhones. It is more expensive than buying a used phone and unlocking it, but you will have a new phone with warranty. See the link.

I was just wondering if the web browser still works once the prepaid card is activated. I've been looking and i know that there is an unlimited mobile browsing option for prepaid phones for something like 10.00 $ a month. If i was using an iphone i should theoretically be able to browse the internet right?

From what I understand, you will need a data plan to be able to browse the web anywhere anytime. I can only browse the web when I am in a wifi zone. There is also the web browsing feature for 10$/month but I didn't try it yet. http://mobility.petro-canada.ca/en/features/380... I'll let you know once I tried it.
